New Orleans airport. Meet our
local representative in the baggage claim area and be escorted to the awaiting
motorcoach.
Check-in: Prince Conti Hotel
Free afternoon to enjoy the French Quarter.
7:00 p.m. New
Orleans School of Cooking (Chef prepares 4 Louisiana
dishes – dinner served at the end of class) (walking distance – approximately 4 “French Quarter” short blocks).

city tour, to include Katrina sites (by

Boat tour.

Swamp Boat Tour (by coach – we’ll walk
approximately 2 “French Quarter” short blocks to get to the coach). See the Cajuns of the Bayou living and
surviving in harmony with the swamps.
Here, the waterways are their highways.
From the relaxed comfort of our covered Swamp Tour Boat, we will drift
slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery and Fishing
village! You may see the wildlife that
made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana
Purchase. Here, birds,
snakes, turtles, fur animals, and Gators are the king of the swamp and easily
spotted in Spring, Summer, and Fall.
